HKR001 “The Raiders of the Lost Break EP

HyperKat-Recordings is proud to kickoff the new label with this huge new E.P. release, showcasing various styles of Breakbeat with an official launch date of March 16th, 2014!!!

Supporting the launch of the label, we have two originals by DJ Infinitee, with two additional remixes by Bradley Drop and Justin Johnson.

Track 1.  DJ Infinitee-“The Hindu God Mix” (Dark Bassline Breaks Anthem)-132BPM

The featured track of the E.P., “The Hindu God Mix” a monstrously big and dark Breaks anthem with huge bass lines, clever samples from the Indiana Jones classic series accompanied by well placed Hindi vocal stabs, and flute melodies.

Track 2. DJ Infinitee-“Legend Of Sankara Mix” (Future Jungle)-140BPM

On the B side, the  “Legend Of Sankara Mix” shows a little bit of the lighter side of the release, complimenting DJ Infinitee’s original mix nicely with this Future Jungle number.  Coming in at 140BPM, this vastly different yet similar themed version features rich thick sub kicks and ragga overtones with a ripping anthemic bassline, and clever use of the Indiana Jones samples throughout.

Track 3. Bradley Drop-“Shiva Remix” (Big Beat/Mid-Tempo Breaks)-125BPM

Bradley Drop’s “Shiva Remix” bangs hard with a nostalgic sound of the Big Beat era reminiscent of the Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Semi-Detached, and many more of the well known Breaks artists from the UK.  Coming in at
